Everyone is making a big deal out of Marshawn Lynch never wanting to answer questions from the press. It got to the point where the NFL threatened him with a $500,000 fine. So at the annual Super Bowl media day, Lynch spent 4:51 answering 29 questions saying "I'm here so I won't get fined." It's so funny how people are trying to control what he's doing. If he doesn't want to talk to the press, then he shouldn't have to. I'll admit what he did was a bit childish and probably could have been handled better, but at least he gave an answer. Maybe he wants some privacy and doesn't want the press prying into his personal life. However, he can't have his cake and eat it too. You can't want the fame and be left alone at the same time. But the press, I'm sure, is still going to try their best to get some answer out of him.
I completely agree. Some people are very private about what they do, so if he wants to keep silent they should find someone else to question.
ReplyDeleteWhat is even the point of the Super Bowl media day? Some people like to keep their private life private.
ReplyDeleteAll this man wants to do is play the game of football. All this media and interviewing is great but if he doesn't want to be interviewed, he doesn't have to. He just wants to do his job which is playing football and scoring touchdowns. I think its very funny what he did and I have no problems with it. He was trying to get his point across and I believe he did.
