Midterm Elections- Kentucky 2014
the Kentucky midterm of 2014 is a very important one. This year the chair of the minority leader is up for grabs. Senator McConnell has been a part of the senate since 1985, if he wins this election, he will become the Majority leader. Another important thing about this race is that Kentucky is a republican state and here we have a Republican and Democrat running against each other. However, the Democrats have recently pulled all their money out of the election campaign due to the fear that they will lose. Lately, McConnell has been attacking Grimes(opposing candidate) for her democratic beliefs, so why wouldn't the democrats be scared? McConnell has been making statements like how Grimes has views like Obama, which will eventually lead us to destruction. This race is a very heated one,  constant back and forth, head to head poles. Will it be a change in the senate? Or will the minority leader become the majority leader?

  1. How close do you think the race has become? How has the visit of the Clintons helped Grimes' campaign?

  2. Do you think Hilary Clinton's speech during Alison Grimes' campaign in Louisville helped her gain more votes of women in Kentucky?
