Slow and Steady Wins the Race!

With Election day being a week from tomorrow, Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes needs all the help she can get to win the race. The polls are close, but you know what they say, "close but no cigar." What Grimes needs to is give the  voters the respect they're demanding for. Lately politics are anything but nice, and quite frankly, America is sick and tired of it. So how should Grimes take a stand to take the lead? Kill Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell with kindness. Playing it safe is the best thing Grimes could do at this point. She should make ads saying that she apologizes for the harsh statements previously made. Doing so would show not only Kentucky, but America that she is mature enough to be the bigger person and admit that what she did and said was wrong and most importantly unprofessional. Both McConnell and Grimes were being unprofessional with the statements previously made, but if Grimes can publicly apologize it'll give her the upper hand. She should also reach out, once again, to the women voters. She should do this by saying she only made the comments and ads that she did because she was very eager to win and in this economy, men always have the upper hand. The best thing she could possibly do is reach out and not only make promises but state facts on how she can and will keep those promises. Women are always seen at weak individuals, time to show strong us "weak" women can be when it comes to the things we care about most. And clearly Alison Lundergan Grimes cares a lot about this election.
