What's the Reason for the Season?

Jesus was born on Christmas day. He, the Son of our God, became human to die for our sins, to save us. However, in the recent years, no one seems to care about that. Now-a-days, the sales and gifts are the most important aspect of the holidays. But how can you forget the reason for your beings?! Shouldn't just be thought about only during the holiday season, but ALL year! It's sad that we remember our God only when we need him. It's like a relative that moved far away and you only call when you want or need something. But that shouldn't be the case, you should call that relative every now and then just to talk and catch up. You should try to spend more time with them because you know they won't be around forever. The same thing when it comes to our faith. We shouldn't just believe in God when we're in a time of distraught our need, but all the time, especially during the holidays. If it wasn't for Jesus, we wouldn't have all these things to celebrate. Just take the time to think about that.

  1. How do you feel about people getting offended when others say, "Merry Christmas" and not "Happy Holidays"?

  2. I mean what can I say? If they don't celebrate Christmas, then they don't celebrate Chrismas. But why get mad at someone who does and is just trying to spread the holiday cheer? Ya know.

    1. You tell'em, girl. I don't think I should have to change how I greet people during the holidays just because they don't believe in Jesus.
