Prom, Class Trip, and Graduation OH MY!
Senior year is a stressful one yet filled with excitement! From applying to college to getting dressed for prom. However, when it comes to actually getting through the year, that becomes a problem. "Senioritis" sets in about 2 weeks into the school year. Your eager to just start a new part in your life, so you're ready to forget the part that your currently in. You stop caring about classes, about lectures, about how you dress and act. It just becomes tedious. It's just funny that, in order to actually graduate, you have to care about what you're doing during the senior year. It's okay to be excited just take into consideration the big change in responsibility that you're about to go through.

Sixteen, Pregnant, and Living in the White House
So there's a horrible rumor going around saying that 16 year-old Malia Obama, that's right Obama, is pregnant! What low-life came up with this false accusation, no one will ever know. One thing's for sure, they couldn't have been anymore more wrong.
Let's start with the "statements" made from the presidential family; just by the way they're speaking, you can tell it's fake. Like saying "white trash" and "tramp," or even "homebody" that's just way beneath their standards and class. As the presidential family they are expected to speak and act a certain way, but even if they weren't, I'm still sure they wouldn't say such harsh things for the public to see and hear. And they make it seems as though the First Lady is okay with her daughter being pregnant at a young age. Let's just get this straight, NO MOTHER IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD BE OKAY WITH THEIR DAUGHTER HAVING A CHILD AT SIXTEEN YEARS-OLD! I mean, why would they?! Just because it "runs in the family" does not mean they have to follow in their elders' footsteps. As a parent, you want your child to have a better life than you. Meaning, not making the same mistakes you made. It's just common sense people! People should just find something better to do with their life rather than trying to ruin someone else's.

What's the Reason for the Season?
Jesus was born on Christmas day. He, the Son of our God, became human to die for our sins, to save us. However, in the recent years, no one seems to care about that. Now-a-days, the sales and gifts are the most important aspect of the holidays. But how can you forget the reason for your beings?! Shouldn't just be thought about only during the holiday season, but ALL year! It's sad that we remember our God only when we need him. It's like a relative that moved far away and you only call when you want or need something. But that shouldn't be the case, you should call that relative every now and then just to talk and catch up. You should try to spend more time with them because you know they won't be around forever. The same thing when it comes to our faith. We shouldn't just believe in God when we're in a time of distraught our need, but all the time, especially during the holidays. If it wasn't for Jesus, we wouldn't have all these things to celebrate. Just take the time to think about that.
Racism Still Thrives
I honestly find it very funny that people just refuse to believe that racism still exists. No one wants to admit that the United States, Land of the Brave and Home of the Free, isn't a nation built off of racism. Let's face the facts, it is. Our nation is one built off of the variety of races, yet(like always) some wants to be in charge, someone wants to feel superior to another. Racism may not be as bad as 200 years ago but it's still here. Whether it be in movies, police brutality or even companies refusing minority workers, IT IS STILL HERE! No matter how hard we try tto hide and distract the world, there will still be racism here. But until people actually stand up and try to do something about it as a whole nation, there will be no change.
